Tom Ford Spring Summer 11 Secret Show

Last September 12, designer Tom Ford organized in his boutique in Madison Avenue in NY a secret preview of his womenswear collection, but the time has stood still since that day. What happened that day was not revealed to the common people. All of the photos, by Terry Richardson and the videos weren't released...until now!


On the catwalk all the women that inspired the designer like Du Juan, Liu Wen, Karlie Kloss, Chanel Iman, Lakshmi Menon, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Freja Beha Erichsen, which is the testimonial for the eyewear, Anja Rubik, Daria Werbowy, Karen Elson, Natalia Vodianova, Stella Tennant, Amber Valletta, Carolyn Murphy which was the previous face for the eyewear, Monica "Jac" Jagaciak, Lauren Hutton, Liya Kebede and Joan Smalls.

In the parterre guests like Anna Wintour, Joe Zee, Nina Garcia and Carine Roitfeld, but mixed in with the models were other celebrities such as Rita Wilson, Julianne Moore, Beyoncè Knowles and her sister Solange, Marisa Berenson, Farida Khelfa, Lisa Eisner, Julia Restoin Roitfeld, Lou Dillon, Rachel Feinstein, Emmanuelle Seigner, Rinko KIkuchi and Daphne Guinnes closing the show.


Tom Ford personally introduced every model and garment with a "Ladies and Gentlemen, I'd like to introduce....".
The only photograph allowed to shoot the show was Terry Richardon, one of TF's bestfriends. The collection was all glamour with sharp pantsuits in black silk or a leopard pattern, gorgeous black evening clothes with sheer blouses, corsets, and maybe a shrug in shredded tulle, impeccable details like hammered gold jewelry, stilettos with ankle ties and seamed black stockings. Watching the video of TF's ss11 collection, I felt ad if I took a step back into the 70's...
